Extra small dogs need an extra special diet to support them in living life to the full. We have X-Small food for all ages of dog over 2 months and Mini Starter food for puppies that are starting to wean.
Small dogs typically have longer lifespans but reach adulthood sooner than larger dogs, creating a very different set of nutritional needs. Here is a guide to the ages your X-Small dog should move onto the next diet:
- Up to 2 months: Mini Starter
- 2 to 10 months: Puppy
- Over 10 months: Adult
- Over 8 years: Adult 8+
- Over 12 years: Ageing 12+
