Photos must:

1. be in JPG format.
2. be between 4 and 12 megapixels (e.g. at least 2448×1632, less than 4000×3000)
3. be good quality (i.e. subject in focus, well lit, etc).
4. contain no more than 1 animal.
5. only contain a single dog to be eligible for entry.
6. not be excessively digitally altered or include text embedded on the image.
7. feature a happy and healthy animal in natural outdoor surroundings (no studio environments).
8. not include people or other animals.
9. be your own property and not be subject to copyright. If you are not the owner you must have permission from the owner before uploading.
10. not depict a scenario which may be interpreted as unethical, causing stress or distress or putting the animal in danger.
11. not depict any subject matter that could be considered illegal, immoral, cruel, degrading, or feature any form of suffering or sexual content.

Moderation

1. All entries will be moderated by ROYAL CANIN® prior to being displayed on our website and entered into any competition.
2. ROYAL CANIN® reserves the right to reject photos on any grounds it sees fit.

How we will use your photos

1. All photos uploaded via www.royalcanin.co.uk/advent are automatically deemed to be either the property of Crown Pet Foods Ltd or can be used by it, and may be used for any purpose we see fit.
2. You will not be entitled to any payment if we choose to use your photo.
3. Submitting your photo or winning a competition does not guarantee that we will use your photo.
4. We reserve the right to digitally alter your photo if necessary.
